Some very interesting data on the passage of the 1986 FOPA

This law did basically 2 things. Â 1) Federally permitted transportation of firearms provided they were legal at the source & destination, and that they were locked / unloaded. Â 2) banned possession of machine guns manufactured after May, 1986.
